BYD‘s upcoming Ocean Series MPV has been spotted in China, featuring a front end design similar to the Seal 08 sedan and Sealion 08 SUV.
The minivan is expected to embody the Ocean series’ latest design theme and will likely target home-oriented buyers with large families.

The MPV is expected to start at around 200,000 yuan (30,000 USD) and will offer Flash Charging-capable EV and PHEV trims.
This new model will fill the gap in BYD’s MPV lineup, which has been lacking since the Dynasty Series’ Xia (M9) failed to gain traction in the market.
The Linghui M9, a commercial version of the M9, has been available since June, priced at 188,800 yuan (28,300 USD).
