The base IONIQ 6 Premium relies on a new 84 kWh battery paired with the 225 HP RWD powertrain, yielding up to 422 miles of range and an efficiency rating of 4.6 miles/kWh. Starting at £33,240 including the ECG, standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, flush auto door handles, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a heat pump, smart regenerative braking, wireless phone charging, over-the-air updates, and a full suite of safety systems.

An intermediate N-Line 84kWh AWD model is also available priced at £43,490 with a 354-mile range.

Built on an advanced 800-volt electrical architecture, the IONIQ 6 supports DC fast-charging speeds up to 350 kW, allowing the battery to replenish from 10% to 80% in roughly 18 minutes. Deliveries for the new model are scheduled to kick off in early 2027. Meanwhile, buyers in the US will miss out on this updated streamliner, as Hyundai plans to discontinue the standard IONIQ 6 in the US after the 2026 model year, though the high-performance N variant will stay on sale.
