Toyota’s GR GT Isn’t Even in Driveways Yet, But the Internet Is Already Hacking It

The internet’s tuning obsession has already claimed Toyota’s upcoming GR GT supercar—before the first one has even left the factory.

Independent designer Khyzyl Saleem has digitally butchered the GR GT into a wide-body, slammed beast, complete with flared fenders, carbon-fiber aero, and a set of deep-dish BBS E88 wheels.

The GR GT, Toyota’s standalone Gazoo Racing flagship, is already being positioned as the spiritual successor to the Lexus LFA, but Saleem’s vision cranks the drama up to Lamborghini levels.

The transformation starts with aggressive fender extensions seamlessly blended into the body, a carbon-fiber splitter up front, and side gills plus extra skirts along the flanks.

The rear remains largely untouched, as the stock GR GT already rocks a ducktail spoiler, a menacing diffuser, and quad tailpipes. The pièce de résistance? A set of deep-dish BBS E88 alloys and a purple-over-black livery that screams exotic hypercar.

Saleem didn’t touch the hybrid powertrain—Toyota’s twin-turbo dry-sump 4.0-liter V8 (rated at least 641 hp) paired with an electric motor is left intact—but the bodykit alone suggests the GR GT is ready to be pushed further.

Toyota hasn’t confirmed the combined output, but it has teased a top speed beyond 199 mph (320 km/h).

Deliveries for the first standalone GR GT models from Gazoo Racing aren’t expected until 2027, leaving plenty of time for real-world tuners to dream up their own versions.

Whether buyers will actually bolt on aftermarket parts like Saleem’s remains to be seen, but one thing’s clear: the GR GT’s exotics-rivaling looks are already inspiring the kind of modifications that usually wait for cars to hit the streets.
