Cooper Tires has officially launched the all-new Cooper Discoverer HT, a highway mixed-terrain tire built for drivers of popular trucks and SUVs who rely on their vehicles daily.

Announced on October 28, 2026, in Akron, Ohio, the tire is designed to handle demanding tasks such as hauling, towing, and carrying heavy loads while maintaining everyday highway comfort.

Brad Heim, vice president of Product Development Global Consumer at Goodyear, noted that the tire combines dependable highway performance with everyday comfort for drivers pulling trailers or covering hundreds of miles in a day.

Built with tall, straight sidewalls and an optimized footprint for maximum road contact, the Cooper Discoverer HT features 3D Micro-Gauge technology for enhanced traction throughout its lifespan, alongside a long-wearing tread designed for a quiet ride on rough surfaces.

The tire is backed by a 70,000-mile / 115,000-km limited treadwear warranty on Metric sizes and a 55,000-mile / 90,000-km limited treadwear warranty on LT-Metric sizes.

Manufactured in the U.S. across three facilities in Texarkana, Arkansas; Findlay, Ohio; and Tupelo, Mississippi, the Discoverer HT is available now in 15 sizes, expanding to 19 popular sizes by December 2026.

An additional 16 LT sizes are anticipated in the first quarter of 2027, with rim sizes ranging from 16 to 22 inches. The tires can be purchased at local Cooper authorized retailers or through coopertire.com.
