The 2027 BMW i3 and iX3 both start at $61,500, yet the electric sedan costs nearly $80 less a month to lease than its SUV counterpart. BMW opened orders for the 2027 i3 at the end of September, following the release of the new iX3 earlier this year. Both models are built on the dedicated Neue Klasse EV platform featuring an 800V electrical system and sixth-generation eDrive technology. They support DC fast charging of up to 400 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in roughly 21 minutes, and come equipped with a standard NACS charge port.

Both vehicles use a 108.7 kWh battery pack. The 2027 BMW i3 offers a range of up to 468 miles, while the taller and more upright iX3 delivers up to 434 miles of range. Inside, the EVs showcase the Neue Klasse cabin layout, featuring BMW Panoramic Vision spanning the full-length windshield, a 17.9-inch central infotainment display running Operating System X, and an optional BMW 3D Head-Up Display. The 2027 BMW i3 50 xDrive and 2027 iX3 50 xDrive start at $61,500.
