IONIQ 9 earns Hispanic Motor Press award in Los Angeles

The all-new 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 has secured the 2026 EV of the Year title from the Hispanic Motor Press at the 16th-annual awards program. The awards recognize standout vehicles for Hispanic consumers based on driving satisfaction, technology, cleaner mobility, safety, infotainment, styling, and value. The accolade was handed out during the media days of the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show’s AutoMobility LA, following selection by a jury consisting of Hispanic automotive journalists, content creators, and industry experts. The three-row Hyundai IONIQ 9 won praise for its versatility, innovative EV tech, advanced safety systems, and family-focused design. Claudia Marquez, COO of Hyundai Motor America, noted that the recognition highlights the brand’s dedication to safe, convenient, and innovative electric vehicles for families.
