Auto Express has published the first UK-bound images of the 2026 KGM Actyon Hybrid, confirming the Korean brand’s push into electrified SUVs. The updated model arrives as a direct response to criticism of the outgoing petrol-only Actyon’s fuel thirst, with KGM positioning the new hybrid as a cleaner, more efficient alternative. The UK market launch is scheduled for 28 May 2026, coinciding with the publication of a full road-test review. KGM’s new Dual Tech Hybrid system—developed in partnership with BYD—is said to deliver an EV-like driving experience by blending a conventional internal-combustion engine with an electric motor and battery pack. The system is also set to underpin the upcoming KGM Torres hybrid, expanding the technology across the brand’s SUV lineup. While earlier Actyon reviews praised the SUV’s step forward for KGM, they also highlighted areas needing improvement versus rivals. The 2026 Actyon Hybrid aims to address those concerns with improved efficiency and reduced running costs, though pricing and full technical specifications remain under wraps.
