Hexpol Long-Serving Executives Announce Departure

Hexpol AB has announced that two long-serving members of its group management team, Carsten Rueter and Ralph Wolkener, will leave the group at the end of 2027. Rueter, president of Hexpol Compounding Technology, and Wolkener, president of Hexpol Compounding Europe & Asia, have reached a mutual agreement with the company to prepare a management transition before ending their employment on 31 Dec 2027. Both executives will remain fully responsible for their current roles until successors have been appointed. The Swedish group expects the transition to be completed well before their departure to ensure a smooth handover, with recruiting for successors set to begin as soon as possible after the summer break. According to chairman Alf Goransson, Rueter and Wolkener have been with Hexpol for more than three decades and have been central to growing the company’s Rubber Compounding business into a world-leading operation.
