Italian machinery specialist Comerio Ercole has posted robust demand across its core tire and rubber markets as well as other polymer segments in the first half of 2026. In a July market update, the Busto Arsizio-based manufacturer said the market “continues to show strong momentum,” with the first six months delivering “positive results and encouraging growth prospects.” Sustained investment by tire and rubber customers, combined with rising opportunities in plastics processing, PVC films, nonwovens and specialty applications, underpinned the positive outlook. Comerio Ercole stated: “The first half of 2026 has confirmed strong market activity and increasing demand for advanced manufacturing solutions.” The company also flagged “several important projects and exciting developments” already in motion, including the newly launched JET (joint embossing technological centre) in partnership with Italy’s SIMEC Group. The facility will focus on advanced post-embossing technologies for polymer films, nonwovens and related materials. Separately, Comerio Ercole hosted an official delegation from Svilajnac, Serbia, to showcase its expertise in advanced machinery for rubber and plastics industries and to discuss innovation, manufacturing and future international collaboration.
