Three Chinese tire makers and one Japanese company are moving ahead with new facilities in Asia, Africa, and North America. Long March Tyres plans to build a dedicated passenger car radial tire facility in Pakistan, while Zhongce Rubber Group is investing in a new tire production facility in Vietnam. Shandong Linglong Tire is in talks with Egypt’s Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade to establish a $2 billion integrated tire manufacturing complex. Toyo Tire Corp. is considering establishing a new truck and bus tire production facility in North America. The projects aim to increase production capacity, improve competitiveness, and navigate global trade frictions.
