The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team will unveil its brand-new fan hub at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place from July 9-12. This immersive experience will offer fans an unprecedented racing and paddock experience, featuring an authentic F1 pit lane and garage. Visitors can test their skills with a pit stop challenge on a real F1 car, drive high-performance simulators, create their own grid pass, and be guided by experienced moderators. The team’s third driver, Fred Vesti, will be behind the wheel of the W13, tackling the legendary 1.89 km “Hill Climb” from Friday to Sunday. The fan hub, located in the “F1 Pitlane” area, boasts a dynamic, open layout, allowing fans to seamlessly transition between areas. The hub will feature a state-of-the-art simulator area, authentic exhibitions with driver memorabilia, and a premium shop offering the team’s recently announced “Blue Wonder” collection, team merchandise, and limited-edition items exclusive to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Fans can also participate in pit stop challenges, guided by current and former team mechanics, with the goal of achieving a sub-two-second pit stop time on the 2018 W09 car. Additionally, fans can participate in giveaways, with prizes including a visit to the team’s factory in Brackley. The W13, which George Russell drove to his first F1 win at the 2022 São Paulo Grand Prix, will be on display in the team’s 2026 livery. Fred Vesti expressed his excitement about participating in the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the launch of the new fan hub, stating that it will be an incredible experience for fans to immerse themselves in the world of Mercedes F1.
