The 2027 BMW X5 configurator is now live, and we built the most expensive version, which costs over $95,000. The price starts at $73,450 for the 2027 X5 40 xDrive, and with all the options, the total price reaches $95,400, including the $1,350 destination charge. This gets you a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight-six engine with 394 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. The most expensive options include the M Sport Professional Pack for $4,550, Tanzanite Blue II Metallic for $1,950, and 23-Inch Wheels With Summer Tires for $1,000. On the interior, upgrades include Vintage Coffee BMW Individual Merino Leather for $3,100, Luxury Package for $3,100, Climate Package for $2,800, and Technology Package for $1,450. Safety options include the Driving Assistance Professional Package for $2,500 and the Parking Assistance Package for $750. With all these options, the X5’s price tag exceeds $95,000, and with dealer-installed accessories and a full maintenance plan, the final price can reach over $100,000. The plug-in hybrid and electric versions are expected to cost even more.
