Pre-sales opened on October 19, with four variants priced from 139,800 to 175,800 yuan (19,650 to 24,700 USD). The V25 is the second range-extended model from iCaur, following the larger V27, launched in March 2026. The brand is also known as iCar in China. The V25 sits between the V23 and V27 in the domestic lineup, offering rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. Powertrain, charging and range The V25 uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 115 kW (154 HP) as a range extender.

The rear-wheel-drive version has a single 185 kW (248 HP) motor producing 300 N·m, while the all-wheel-drive model combines two motors for 335 kW (449 HP) and 505 N·m. Their respective 0-to-100 km/h acceleration times are 8.5 and 5.8 seconds. All versions use a 33.67 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. WLTC electric range is 150 km for RWD models and 145 km for AWD versions. Converted to WLTP (typically ~82% of CLTC), the 210 km and 200 km CLTC electric ratings correspond to approximately 172 km and 164 km, respectively, while the 1,240 km and 1,210 km combined CLTC ranges translate to roughly 1,017 km and 992 km WLTP. A 58-litre fuel tank supplies the range extender. The battery supports up to 90 kW DC charging, with a reported 30% to 80% charge taking 15 minutes.

The SUV uses a unibody structure with MacPherson front suspension and an independent five-link rear setup. Chery lists an 80% proportion of high-strength and advanced high-strength steel and torsional rigidity of 30,000 N·m/degree. Its stated off-road figures include 197 mm of ground clearance, 30-degree approach and 28-degree departure angles, and a 600 mm wading depth.
