Honda Racing has unveiled a 1,300+ HP hybrid Passport Trophy Truck, set to compete in the Score World Desert Championship’s top class. The truck, developed with Mason Motorsports and Menzies Motorsports, boasts a 2.4-liter V6-based powertrain with a pair of turbochargers and an 800-volt hybrid system.

The engine shares ties with Acura’s ARX-06 GTP race car and features a bespoke hybrid system with a Formula 1-style pouch cell battery. The truck also features brake-by-wire systems, adaptive traction control, and AI power deployment.

With a five-speed transmission and all-wheel drive setup, the Passport Trophy Truck is ready to take on the Baja 1000. The truck will debut at the 2026 SEMA Show and will be driven by two-time Baja 1000 winner Bryce Menzies.
