Hyundai has updated its electric ‘streamliner’, the Ioniq 6, and with a new price tag of £33,240, it’s now a serious contender in the market.
The 84kWh, 423-mile version is available for less than the £37,000 threshold, making it eligible for the full £3750 Electric Car Grant. This brings the entry-level Premium trim down to a steal.
The Ioniq 6 has also received a facelift, with slimmer headlights, new wheel designs, and the loss of the distinctive rear wing. Inside, the materials have been upgraded, and the centre console is now more logically laid out.

The car also boasts an impressive amount of rear leg room and a surprisingly decent driving experience.

With a range of 364 miles and an economy of 4.0mpkWh, the Ioniq 6 is now a highly recommendable option, particularly for those looking for a distinctive, non-SUV electric vehicle.
