Following the departure of Nic de Sena to TopSpeed, Ultimate Motorcycling has announced several staff promotions and team updates for its November 2026 issue. The Senior Editor position will remain vacant for the foreseeable future.

Teejay Adams has been promoted from Associate Editor to Social Media Editor. Alongside managing the publication’s social channels on Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok—with Reels regularly crossing the 1 million views mark—Adams continues to test motorcycles and gear, recently riding the Honda CB750 Hornet E-Clutch.

Jonathan Handler has returned as an Associate Editor following a stint working with Richa USA to build the Belgian riding apparel brand’s presence in America. Handler recently tested the new Honda CB1000F in Alabama for an upcoming review in the magazine, and installed a set of Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring T33 tires on the publication’s BMW R 1250 RS Project Bike.

Editorial Team Changes and Staff Updates for November 2026

Darren Bart joins the Associate Editor roster as a lifelong rider with expertise in dirt bikes and daily commuting to his family-owned shop, Whitney Auto Service, in Canoga Park. Readers can expect more dirt bike tests and commuter bike evaluations from Bart, joined by his two young children who test kids’ off-road motorcycles.

Associate Editors Kelly Callan, Gary Ilminen, Jess McKinley, Freeman Wood, and Neil Wyenn remain on the team. Jess McKinley is currently recovering from a non-motorcycle arm operation, but recently completed street-only testing on the new KTM 1390 Super Adventure R alongside the editor riding a Moto Morini X-Cape 1200 over Sherman Pass between Kernville and US Route 395. Meanwhile, Freeman Wood is relocating from Los Angeles to the Lake Tahoe area, where he will continue taking on epic rides, working on project bikes, and attending international bike launches.
