Acura aims to sell 200,000 vehicles annually by 2030 in the U.S., banking on several all-new and updated models recently presented to dealers, though these vehicles will not arrive for two years. Among the key introductions is a large, three-row SUV positioned above the MDX, roughly six inches longer than the MDX, sharing its underpinnings with Honda‘s upcoming ‘Pilot XXL’ model, and targeting the Lexus TX.
Acura also previewed an ‘adventure-ready’ SUV based on the Honda Passport TrailSport, featuring the same chassis and a unique design. Additionally, the next-generation RDX is in development, featuring a new design language inspired by an Acura SUV concept from May—including sideways A-shaped LED taillights—and utilizing Honda’s next-generation hybrid architecture that costs 30% less to produce and improves fuel efficiency by 10%.

A next-generation MDX is also planned to replace the current version on sale since 2022, potentially launching around 2029 or later. Rounding out the product plans are a limited-run Integra Type S with a unique paint scheme, and special editions of the current ADX and MDX.
