The 2027 Subaru Ascent has been introduced with minimal updates, which may not be enough to boost sales. The three-row crossover starts at $40,795, with some trims seeing a $100 price increase.

The updates include two new colors, Deepwater Blue Pearl and Daybreak Blue Pearl, which are available for $395, as well as additional USB-C ports and a cargo light. The Ascent’s sales have been struggling, with a 21.1% decline last year to 44,400 units, and this year’s sales are shaping up to be even worse, down 13.3% so far.
The Ascent is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 260 HP and 277 lb-ft of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The pricing for the 2027 Ascent is as follows: Ascent Premium $40,795, Ascent Limited $47,985, Ascent Limited Bronze Edition $49,095, Ascent Touring $51,165, and Ascent Onyx Edition Touring $51,995, excluding a $1,495 destination fee.
