Orange EV has hit a major milestone, delivering its 2,000th electric terminal truck to Coca-Cola Canada Bottling on June 23, 2026. The deployment expands Coke Canada’s electric yard truck operations in British Columbia and Quebec, marking a significant step in the beverage giant’s push to cut carbon emissions and shrink its environmental footprint.
The company’s electric terminal trucks have now logged over 12 million key-on hours and 33 million miles across more than 370 fleets spanning 41 U.S. states, four Canadian provinces, and the Caribbean. Orange EV’s fleet has achieved an average uptime of about 97%, a critical metric for high-volume logistics operations where downtime is costly. Earlier this month, the company announced record order volume, including a single order for 600 trucks, underscoring the growing demand for zero-emission yard trucks in industrial and logistics settings.
Orange EV’s lineup includes the Triever platform, tailored for warehouse and distribution operations, and the Husk-e model, designed for heavy-duty applications like ports. Each electric yard truck is estimated to eliminate between 80 and 90 tons of CO2 emissions annually compared to a diesel equivalent.
Coca-Cola Canada Bottling President Tony Chow emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its electric fleet as part of its broader sustainability strategy. The beverage giant also recognized Orange EV as one of its 2025 Supplier Partner Award winners at its annual Supplier Partner Forum.
Kurt Neutgens, co-founder, president, and chief technology officer of Orange EV, called the 2,000th truck delivery a production milestone and a sign of the industry reaching a tipping point toward widespread adoption of electric terminal trucks.
