The 1994 Ford Probe GT is a rare find at auction, especially with just 49,000 miles on the odometer. One of only 2,041 “Feature Car” units produced that year, this Probe GT rolled out of the factory in Wild Orchid Clearcoat Metallic paint, a color exclusive to this special edition. While the exterior shows some wear—minor dings, scratches, and the results of a paintless dent removal—the car’s overall condition remains solid.
It rides on 17-inch Enkei RPF1 wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires, supported by a four-wheel MacPherson strut suspension upgraded with KYB dampers, new strut mounts, coil spring insulators, strut bellows, strut bearings, and four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, the cabin features black cloth seats with patterned inserts, air conditioning, cruise control, LED lighting, Dash Designs transparent floor mats, and the optional premium sound system with a subwoofer. However, the CD stereo isn’t fully functional, and there are some loose panels and a separated dash piece—typical issues for cars of this era.
Under the hood, the naturally-aspirated 2.5L DOHC V6 engine, factory-rated at 164 horsepower, is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car has received recent maintenance, including a new fuel filter, PCV valve, intake manifold gasket, valve cover gaskets, battery, and clutch master cylinder, making it more reliable for its next owner. The Probe GT’s rarity and low mileage make it a compelling option for enthusiasts looking for a well-preserved example of this often-overlooked Ford model.
