The Ford Mustang GTD continues to turn heads with its latest special-edition finish, this time draped in Brittany Blue—a hue with deep roots in Mustang history. Debuting on the original pony car in 1967, Brittany Blue has resurfaced sporadically over the years, most recently as a no-cost option for 2022 EcoBoost Premium models with the Coastal Limited Edition Package and as part of the 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary Package in limited quantities.
Now, this classic color graces the track-focused Mustang GTD, proving its versatility beyond the showroom floor. The Brittany Blue GTD joins a growing roster of eye-catching custom hues under Ford’s Extended Color Palette (ECP) program, which lets buyers lock in exclusive colors for one-of-a-kind builds.
Recent standouts include a GTD finished in Cinnabar Orange—a metallic orange lifted from the Aston Martin DB11—and Viola Parisfae, a violet metallic inspired by Lamborghini’s Aventador and Huracán. Even Multimatic’s CEO joined the trend, commissioning the only gold-finished GTD to date, a nod to the project’s codename, “Project Gold,” and bearing the chassis number S084, a tribute to the year Multimatic was founded.
