Royal Enfield is celebrating 125 years of motorcycle manufacturing with a striking new special edition that pairs its old-school philosophy with custom-style paint. The new Royal Enfield Classic 650 Hypershift 125th Anniversary Edition features a color-shifting Hypershift finish that transitions from deep red to shimmering gold depending on the viewing angle and lighting. Additional touches include hand-painted pinstripes, commemorative anniversary badges, a special 125-year crest, and a premium quilted leather seat. Underneath the custom paintwork, the bike retains the mechanical layout of the standard Classic 650. It uses a 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine pushing out roughly 46 horsepower and 38.6 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The suspension, chassis, and overall riding dynamics are completely untouched. Exclusivity is a major draw for this anniversary model, with Royal Enfield limiting production to just 625 units worldwide across various markets. For American buyers, the Hypershift Classic 650 carries a list price of $8,499. Registrations are already open, and the online sale kicks off on October 26 at 11 a.m. Eastern. Buyers must register in advance, and successful customers have a 48-hour window to complete payment through their chosen dealership. Deliveries are slated to begin in November.
