Brad Binder Joins BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team from 2027

BMW Motorrad Motorsport has announced that Brad Binder will join the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team as a factory rider from 2027. Binder, a 30-year-old South African, will make his World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK) debut next season after six years in MotoGP. He will ride the BMW M 1000 RR alongside teammate Miguel Oliveira, whom he has previously worked with in various Grand Prix categories. Binder brings a wealth of experience to the team, having won the 2016 Moto3 World Championship and claiming two victories and nine podium finishes in MotoGP. Danilo Petrucci’s time with the team will come to an end after the 2026 season, but options for future collaboration are being explored. BMW Motorrad Motorsport Head Sven Blusch expressed his excitement about Binder’s arrival, citing his determination to fight for the World Championship title and his potential to form a strong partnership with Oliveira.
