BMW M Motorsport News: Robby Foley on His Racing Season and the BMW M Racing Academy

BMW M Motorsport has had a successful few weeks, with wins and podiums in the IMSA Series and SRO America. Turner Motorsport’s Robby Foley and Patrick Gallagher finished second in the GTD class at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Virginia International Raceway, while Connor De Phillippi and Neil Verhagen finished fifth in the GTD-PRO class. Foley also took a commanding victory in the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS race at Road America, alongside Justin Rothberg.

In an interview, Foley discusses his season, the adjustment between driving the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and the BMW M4 GT4 EVO, and his role as a mentor in the BMW M Racing Academy. The academy will soon begin the selection process for the ‘Class of 2027.’ Foley is living proof that with talent and hard work, you can rise from being a BMW M Motorsport customer racer to a BMW M works driver. He has been racing very successfully for Turner Motorsport for many years in both the IMSA Series and the GT World Challenge America – in both GT3 and GT4 cars.

Supporting young American privateer drivers is especially close to his heart.
