Lynk & Co 08 EM-P Refresh Teased with Potential EV Range Boost Ahead of November 5 Launch

Lynk & Co has teased the refreshed 2027 08 EM-P SUV, set to launch on November 5. The updated model is expected to feature a new vibrant orange color and a potential boost in EV range, up from the current 230 km of CLTC range (~186 km WLTP).

The 08 EM-P is a mid-size SUV, available in China with PHEV powertrains only, priced between 175,800 to 228,800 yuan (26,400 to 34,300 USD). The current lineup features a turbocharged 1.5-litre 120 kW (161 HP) engine and a 180 kW (241 HP) front motor, with total power output rated at 300 kW (402 HP).

The range-topping AWD trim adds an extra 156 kW (209 HP) motor at the rear, bringing total power to 456 kW (612 HP). The 08 EM-P also features an extensive sensor suite for assisted driving duties, including a roof-mounted LiDAR, 3 mm-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 cameras.

The refreshed model is expected to retain its PHEV-only powertrain, with the possibility of upgrading to NMC cells for greater energy density.
