A brand new Hero Karizma XMR 250 has been spotted at a dealer facility wearing a striking red-dominant color scheme, complete with white and black accents. These latest spy shots, credited to automotive enthusiast Sahil Sagar, offer a clear look at the fully-faired motorcycle. This sighting follows a black-and-red version spotted in July 2026 and a white EICMA display bike, marking the third distinct color combination seen so far. Hero is expected to officially launch the motorcycle in the coming months, though it remains unconfirmed whether all three color schemes will make it to the India launch lineup.
The newly spotted motorcycle features a primary red finish covering the fuel tank, front fairing, and raised tail section. Contrast is provided by white graphics on the fairing and a white front mudguard, while black tank inserts and side panels break up the bodywork. Distinctive Karizma lettering is visible on the tank, paired with prominent XMR graphics on the lower fairing. The aesthetic is completed by black alloy wheels, black mirrors, and eye-catching gold-finished upside-down forks. The bike also keeps its tall transparent windscreen, angular front lighting, fairing-mounted winglets, and split-seat layout.

The Karizma XMR 250 first made its global debut at EICMA 2024, followed by an appearance at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in 2025. Hero later showcased an updated version at EICMA 2025, which introduced ride-by-wire and cruise control features.

Underneath the fairing, the Karizma XMR 250 is expected to run on the same 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the Xtreme 250R. Previously revealed specifications rate the output at 30 PS and 25 Nm of torque, channeled through a six-speed gearbox. The mechanical hardware includes a trellis frame, USD front forks, a rear monoshock, and disc brakes on both ends equipped with dual-channel ABS. Additionally, earlier reports indicate the presence of a digital instrument console featuring connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation support. Final India-specification equipment and variant details will be officially confirmed closer to the launch date.

Upon hitting the market, the Hero Karizma XMR 250 will enter a competitive segment where rivals have already made moves. Yamaha has launched the R2 in India with prices starting at approximately Rs 2.31 lakh, ex-showroom. The Karizma XMR 250 is also expected to battle for buyers against the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and KTM RC 200.
