Skoda Peaq Debuts as Three-Row EV Flagship with 402-Mile Range

Skoda has officially unveiled the Peaq, its new three-row electric flagship that slots above the Kodiaq in size but remains smaller than the Hyundai Ioniq 9.

Previewed by the Vision 7S concept, the Peaq features a bold Modern Solid design with T-shaped lighting, a gloss black Tech-Deck Face, sculpted hood, angular air curtains, and a stylized lower intake.

The crossover rides on the MEB+ platform and is the first Skoda to feature flush-mounted door handles, helping it achieve a drag coefficient of 0.249.

Its rakish windscreen flows into a long, sloping roof, while the rear end includes T-shaped taillights and a prominent spoiler.

Buyers can choose between 19- to 21-inch wheels and a panoramic roof with Dynamic Shade Control, which uses nine individually controllable segments to adjust transparency.

The Sportline variant adds gloss black accents, a black roof, black sport seats, and a three-spoke steering wheel.

The Peaq measures 191.9 inches (4,874 mm) long with a wheelbase of 116.7 inches (2,965 mm), making it 7.3 inches (185 mm) shorter than the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and with 6.5 inches (165 mm) less wheelbase.

Inside, the cabin is minimalist with a digital instrument cluster, a 13.6-inch vertical Android-based infotainment system, a floating center console, tiered dashboard, and a wide center console. Physical switchgear is minimized, but dedicated controls remain for key functions.

The Peaq offers five- and seven-seat configurations and includes options like a 16-speaker Sonos premium audio system, a 25W dual Qi2 wireless smartphone charger, and a Relax Package with lounge-like front seats featuring ergonomic legrests, ventilation, massage, two headrest pillows, and a center console table.

Cargo space is generous at 75.9 cubic feet (2,150 liters), with an additional 1.3 cubic feet (37 liters) in the frunk.

Standard driver assistance systems include Front Assist, Crossroad Assist, Turn Assist, and Side Assist, with optional upgrades like Travel Assist 3.0 and Top Area View 360°. The Peaq is offered with three powertrains.

The base 60 variant uses a 63 kWh NMC battery with a rear-mounted motor producing 201 HP (150 kW / 204 PS) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque.

It accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 8.4 seconds, reaches a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h), and delivers a WLTP range of 285 miles (459 km). A 160 kW DC fast charger can replenish the battery from 10-80% in 27 minutes.

The mid-level 90 variant features a 91 kWh battery and a motor producing 282 HP (210 kW / 286 PS) and 402 lb-ft (545 Nm) of torque.

It sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.1 seconds, offers a 402-mile (647 km) WLTP range, and can charge from 10-80% in 28 minutes using a 199 kW fast charger.

The range-topping 90x variant pairs the 91 kWh battery with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing 295 HP (220 kW / 299 PS).

It hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.7 seconds, delivers a 381-mile (613 km) WLTP range, and includes a one-pedal driving mode and bidirectional charging capability. The Peaq can also tow up to 4,409 lbs (2,000 kg).

The crossover incorporates over 110 lbs of recycled materials, underscoring Skoda’s commitment to sustainability.
