BMW M Motorsport capped off a dominant weekend on July 26–27, 2026, with multiple class victories across Europe and Australia, proving the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and BMW M4 GT4 EVO remain unbeatable in customer racing. In Italy, BMW M works drivers Jens Klingmann (GER) and Ugo de Wilde (BEL) delivered a masterclass at Mugello in the Italian GT Championship, securing a commanding win in Sunday’s race aboard the #7 BMW M4 GT3 EVO after finishing fifth on Saturday. The victory, combined with a penalty served on Saturday, propelled BMW Italia Ceccato Racing back to the championship lead with one round remaining. Klingmann emphasized the weekend’s strategic importance: “Mugello was a key event.

Saturday was about maximizing points and avoiding mistakes, while Sunday was all about going all in to win. The team executed flawlessly.” Teammates Anthony McIntosh (USA) and Parker Thompson (CAN) also shone in the GT3 Pro-Am class, claiming class victory on Sunday after a third-place finish on Saturday in the #8 BMW M4 GT3 EVO. The GT4 Italy Series saw Casals Motorsport’s Giacomo Maman and Gustavo Sandrucci dominate, winning both races in the #16 BMW M4 GT4 EVO to secure their third and fourth victories of the season.
