BMW Hasn’t Built A G-Wagen Rival Yet, But This Render Argues It Should

It also includes a skid plate, large air intakes, flared wheel arches, blacked-out wheels, and all-terrain tires. The render, created by Kelsonik, suggests that the BMW off-roader could be powered by the company’s twin-turbocharged V8 engine. While there is no official confirmation from BMW, reports suggest that the company is considering a rugged SUV to compete with the G-Class and other off-road vehicles. BMW M boss Frank van Meel has expressed interest in M-branded off-road products, which could include a vehicle to take on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and Land Rover Defender.
