Aftermarket specialist Late Model Restorations (LMR) has rolled out a fresh batch of Cobra-style amber taillights designed specifically for the 1999–2004 Ford Mustang, colloquially known as the New Edge generation. The new reproduction taillights mimic the look of the amber-lit units fitted to the 1999–2001 Mustang Cobra, offering owners a Euro-inspired aesthetic that has long been hard to source as genuine OEM parts. LMR’s kit fits all 1999–2004 Mustang models straight out of the box, while 2003–2004 Cobra models require minor modifications for fitment. Each set includes left and right taillights housed in a durable, textured black plastic casing with built-in alignment tabs for hassle-free installation. Inside, a chrome backing maximizes light output, complemented by a red lens and amber windows along the lower section. The package also includes replacement bulbs, mounting nuts, and a wiring kit, ensuring owners have everything needed for a complete swap. Priced at $349.99, the kit undercuts the steep cost of original Cobra taillights, making it a practical upgrade for enthusiasts chasing that classic Cobra-inspired look without hunting down scarce OEM parts.
