Michael Hollick from South Africa has won the 37th BMW International Open with a total score of 18 under par. He secured the title with a spectacular eagle on the last hole, giving him the decisive lead over his compatriot Hennie du Plessis.
Hollick needed 67 strokes on Sunday on the Championship Course at Golfclub München Eichenried and triumphed with a total score of 270 strokes. Thomas Rosenmüller from Germany finished as the best German in sole sixth place with a score of -11.
Finn Kölle, also from Germany, was the best amateur, finishing tied for 30th place with a score of -5. This is Hollick’s first title on the DP World Tour in his rookie season.
He expressed his excitement about the win, stating that it’s incredible to have won after starting his career as a coach just four years ago.
