Mercedes-Benz is celebrating 140 years of innovation with a global tour that’s taking the new S-Class to 140 symbolic locations across six continents. After its world premiere on January 29, 2026, three new S-Class sedans set off on a journey spanning over 50,000 kilometers. The convoy’s next leg brings the flagship sedan to Australia and New Zealand, with stops in Melbourne, Victoria, Canberra, Sydney, Byron Bay, and Brisbane in Australia, followed by Auckland, Queenstown, and Christchurch in New Zealand. The tour is designed to highlight the brand’s history, pioneering spirit, and global reach, linking legendary routes, historic milestones, and iconic cities. Along the way, the new S-Class is joined by a mix of classic Mercedes-Benz models, current production cars, and local vehicles, creating unique encounters between past, present, and future at every stop. The journey is packed with exclusive experiences for customers, Mercedes-Benz Club members, and fans—think meet-and-greets, behind-the-scenes stories, and hands-on presentations—all designed to deliver unforgettable moments. The tour’s route is shaped by local community highlights, ensuring each destination offers something special. The first leg took the convoy from Stuttgart through Europe, including Switzerland, France, Spain, and Belgium. The next phase brought the S-Class to Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile. The North American leg is documented here, while the Asia tour impressions are available here. The global adventure wraps up in October 2026 back in Stuttgart, where the Mercedes-Benz story began. Fans can follow the journey digitally via the Mercedes-Benz Community Hub and the brand’s social media channels, where new photo updates are regularly posted on the Mercedes-Benz Media Site. The tour is also live on YouTube, with hosts Callum Mullin covering Europe, Karl Shakur covering South America, and Benjamin Ortega covering North America guiding viewers through each destination.
