1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V Owned By Jeremy Clarkson Heading To Auction

Jeremy Clarkson, renowned for his work on Top Gear, The Grand Tour, and Clarkson’s Farm, is parting ways with his 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V. The large luxury sedan is scheduled to cross the auction block at an Iconic Auctioneers event in Birmingham, UK, in November, with no reserve.

This specific vehicle was selected by Clarkson for The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown. Despite presenting some driving challenges on narrow UK roads, Clarkson grew so fond of the car that he added it to his personal collection after filming.

The Continental is finished in Wedgewood Blue, features a plush interior with its original and fully functioning Cartier clock, and notably retains the nitrous oxide (NOS) setup Clarkson added during the show to give the underpowered sedan a boost, as well as a set of bagpipes featured on screen. The reason behind Clarkson’s decision to sell the car is currently a secret, though it will reportedly be revealed in an upcoming episode of Clarkson’s Farm.
