Mercedes-Benz is celebrating 140 years of innovation with an epic, transcontinental journey featuring the new S-Class. The global tour, which began after the world premiere of the new S-Class on January 29, 2026, spans over 50,000 kilometers across six continents, stopping at 140 carefully selected locations that embody the brand’s history, pioneering spirit, and global presence. The convoy includes three new S-Class sedans, accompanied by a mix of classic Mercedes-Benz models, current production cars, and local vehicles, creating unique encounters between past, present, and future at every stop. The journey is designed to deliver unforgettable experiences for customers, Mercedes-Benz Club members, and fans, featuring meet-and-greets, exclusive stories, presentations, and opportunities to experience the tour firsthand. Community events at each destination shape the route’s progression. The tour’s first leg took the convoy from Stuttgart through Europe—including Switzerland, France, Spain, and Belgium. Next, it traveled through South America, visiting Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile. The North American leg followed, with the convoy then crossing into Asia. The S-Class recently completed stops in Australia and New Zealand. The tour’s final leg arrives in October 2026 in Stuttgart, where the Mercedes-Benz story began. In India, the S-Class convoy made a headline stop at the Umling La pass, recognized as the world’s highest motorable public road at 19,024 feet (5,799 meters), offering one of the most spectacular driving experiences in the country.
