Chrysler Targets $25,000 Starting Price for Two New Crossovers, Sources Say

Chrysler’s upcoming Arrow and Arrow Cross crossovers are now projected to start around $25,000, according to Automotive News. Both models are rebadged versions of the Fiat Grizzly built in Morocco for U.S. import and will sit on Stellantis’ Smart Car platform. The Arrow is a compact fastback with coupe‑like proportions, while the Arrow Cross adopts a boxier, traditional SUV shape focused on practicality. Launches are expected in 2028 or 2029, though no official dates have been set. The price marks a shift from earlier guidance that placed the vehicles under $30,000, positioning Chrysler as the most affordable American nameplate in Stellantis’ portfolio. Above the pair sits the Airflow electric crossover, slated to start under $40,000 and aimed at a mid‑tier entry point. Stellantis’ North America plan calls for nine new models under $40,000 by 2030, with two priced below $30,000, reinforcing Chrysler’s move away from a minivan‑only lineup. The brand’s current Pacifica minivan recently received a modern front end that may share cues with the Arrow and Airflow.
