Lanzante’s 850-HP McLaren 95-59 F1 Tribute Storms Monterey with 59-Car Run

Lanzante has pulled the wraps off its McLaren 95-59, a three-seat F1 tribute built on the McLaren 750S chassis with a central driving position and bespoke bodywork. The heart is a McLaren 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 tuned to 850 horsepower, mated to a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission. Lanzante plans a run of 59 cars priced from $1.3 million before taxes, and the model features a high-downforce package with a fixed rear wing and roof air intake. The 95-59 debuted as a production-intent styling concept at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and has since appeared at high-profile concours events on both sides of the Atlantic as a prototype. The car’s design pays homage to Lanzante’s 1995 Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR, using a three-seat cabin with the driver in the center and passengers offset behind. Inside, the carbon-fiber tub is trimmed in rich materials with purple accents across the dash, seats, and steering wheel. Lanzante positions the 95-59 as a coachbuilt continuation of the McLaren F1 legacy rather than a cosmetic homage, emphasizing functional aerodynamics and tactile driving experience. The prototype remains a rolling statement of intent ahead of a limited production run, with Lanzante’s vision targeting collectors seeking a modern road-going special tied to McLaren’s racing heritage.
