This Italian Supercar Turns a Porsche 911 Into an 800-HP Custom Machine

Italian boutique firm Angelelli Automobili has unveiled Project 754, a limited-run supercar that hijacks the Porsche 911’s DNA and cranks it up to 11. Using either a 991 or 992-generation 911 as a rolling chassis, the team strips the donor car down to its bare bones and rebuilds it with a bespoke carbon-fiber body, proprietary aerodynamics, and a pair of distinct mechanical layouts. The result is a coachbuilt exotic that splits into two flavors: the 754 R keeps the classic rear-engine layout for raw acceleration and traction, while the 754 M bolts in a mid-engine setup for razor-sharp balance and track precision. Both versions are quoted at between 700 and 800 horsepower, though final outputs will be locked in during each customer’s build process. Angelelli stresses the Project 754 is no badge-engineered 911; it’s a ground-up reinterpretation with unique proportions, hand-built titanium and alloy hardware via generative design and metal 3D printing, and a full carbon-fiber shell. The company is capping production at 50 units—25 of the 754 R and 25 of the 754 M—each individually numbered and tailored to the owner’s whims, from suspension tuning and mechanical specs to interior materials and aerodynamic appendages. The goal is a lightweight, track-focused exotic that still doubles as a road weapon, with advanced aerodynamics engineered to nail high-speed stability, cooling, and overall efficiency. Angelelli Automobili has no commercial ties to Porsche, but the donor platform’s rear-engine architecture underpins both layouts, albeit heavily re-engineered in the 754 M to relocate the engine ahead of the rear axle. Buyers will receive a car that’s as much rolling sculpture as it is supercar, with every surface and vent serving a purpose. Pricing hasn’t been disclosed, but given the build-to-order nature, componentry, and exclusivity, expect figures in the high six or low seven figures once options and customization are locked in.
