The offer is valid through July 31 and applies automatically in the online configurator.

Polestar hasn’t explained why Volvo-branded cars remain legal while its luxury spin-off is banned, especially since both run Android Automotive software. The deal isn’t just for cash buyers—Polestar is also offering aggressive lease terms, including $399 per month for 39 months with $1,000 down on the rear-wheel-drive Polestar 4. Mileage is capped at 7,500 miles per year, with excess miles costing $0.25 each.

For those eyeing the larger Polestar 3, the discount is $23,000, bringing the base price down to $44,500 ($50,400 for the dual-motor version). Alternatively, a long-range dual-motor Polestar 3 can be leased for $579 per month with $5,000 down. The Polestar 4’s rear-wheel-drive variant is praised for feeling lighter and more responsive than the dual-motor version, though critics point to the lack of a rear window as a dealbreaker for some.

Despite the ban, the Polestar 4 delivers 310 miles of range and an interior that outclasses many rivals, including Tesla. State incentives could further reduce the effective price. Polestar Financial Services isn’t offering financing due to the U.S. ban, but buyers can secure unsecured personal loans or explore lease options.
